Who are the Pilot BDC gurus?

Simon Lee is a co-founder of Pilot BDC. He is also a Registered Energy Advisor. In addition to helping over 500 homeowners to make their valuable homes to be more energy efficient, he has also built a Net Zero Ready House in BC. His experience aligns directly with today’s government direction in new buildings across Canada .
Simon started his career in Vancouver, BC and later founded an engineering company in Asia. He designed and built various industrial automation systems for Fortune 500 corporations, large organizations in private and public sectors across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Academically, Simon obtained an Advanced Certificate for Executives on Management, Innovation, and Technology from the MIT., a Master of Business Administration degree from Warwick University, U. K. and a Bachelor (Hon.) degree in Engineering from Loughborough University, U. K.

Emilie Wong is a co-founder of Pilot BDC. She has years of building design experience in Canada and Hong Kong. Her specialty of design is in healthcare industry and space maximization in small living area. Her unique skills are particularly relevant to the evolving housing market, the aging population, and the accessibility needs in Canada.
Emilie is obsessive in client success. Her unique approach focuses on optimizing cost and value through a careful balance of client needs, market potential, and design articulation. Emilie’s expertise spans from market research, financing options, to efficient building design.
Professionally, Emilie has been a healthcare planner in Canada since 2022. She had registered as an architect in Hong Kong before emigrating. Academically, she graduated with a Master of Architecture from the University of Hong Kong.
As a passion project, she founded Captain Pine, an emotion educational game company, aiming to nurture the parent-child relationship.
